Visiting Jakob Aljaz
The Zavrh pod Šmarno goro village is the birthplace of Jakob Aljaž, priest, composer, mountaineer and a great Slovenian man. You can visit the house where he was born, see the memorial room with some of his personal artefacts and watch a film about his life. The Mis Farm is also nearby, where you can taste and buy home-made dairy products.
