Finžgar’s Parish House in Sora and the harmonica players
Starting in 1908, the parish Church of St. Stephen in Sora housed one of the greatest Slovenian writers, Fran Saleški Finžgar, who left a great mark on the village during his ten years of service. Finžgar is author of one of the most important Slovenian novels Pod svobodnim soncem (Under the Free Sun). Sora is also a centre of cultural activities, with a very strong folklore section. Since recently, the society has proudly presented its section of mouth organ, or harmonica, players. Would you like to learn to play the harmonica?
