A walk along the Žlebe educational trail
The village of Žlebe, also known as Marjeta, is located in the municipality of Medvode, in the Jeterbenko shelter. Because of the diversity of the animal world as well as the diversity of plants and trees, the Žlebe - Marjeta Tourist Association decided to create an educational trail along forest paths and trails after ten years of operation.
The educational trail, which follows forest paths, is 4800 m long and rises 290 m. Along the way, there are 22 tables with pictures of trees, animals, and plants, as well as their Slovenian names. There is also a guide where you will learn a lot of details to help you better identify these. A section of the guide is dedicated to learning about the village of Žlebe, its ethnological peculiarities, living culture, architecture, and agricultural tasks. The Medvode Tourist Information Centre can provide you with a guide along the way.
